Agreed, and all of the albums they've done since re-appearing in 2004 after an 8-year absence have been excellent. I will definitely be getting this.

I had no idea until I read the AllMusic review that Sam Llanas had left BoDeans, so this new album is basically a Kurt Neumann solo album. Not sure how I feel about that. One of the things that has made them such a unique band is their harmonies, and Llanas's voice is the one that always resonated more with me. I guess comparisons could be made to The Jayhawks' situation in the mid-90s when Mark Olson left, but I was more of a Gary Louris fan so I enjoyed following the post-Olson Jayhawks albums (even though none of them came close to the work they did with Olson).

Has anyone heard "American Made" yet? They're normally a band whose albums I buy immediately, but I'm going to hold off until I find out more about it from other fans.

i am listening to "american made" as i type this. i am on track 6 and i like every track so far. very bodeans musically, of course no one can replace sammy llanas voice so that element is noticeably missing.

i don't know if they raised the price, but i paid only $7.99 at best buy for this w/free shipping. well worth the price, well worth it.
