This might be my favorite new release of the year. I'm glad Nick Saloman is back to recording as his songwriting here is on par with his best albums. He compiled quite a few albums of '60s & '70s psych, hard rock & prog rarities during his hiatus as well as some reissues of his earliest recordings. But sadly no box set(s) of the rumored vault of Neil Young-sized unreleased material.

Here's hoping it's not another 7 years til the next Frond album!

I only have one Bevis Frond CD ("Inner Marshland") and I remember really liking it. What would be a good choice for my next one? This new one?

I would recommend more of his earlier albums since you like "Inner Marshland". Albums like "Miasma" or "Triptych", or even "Superseeder" which was a brief return to the style of the early records. Around the time of "Superseeder", the Frond sound adopted a more jangly ring to its psych-pop beat.

I like the sound of "adopted a more jangly ring to its psych-pop beat." I guess I would probably like anything they/he released. Thanks.
