I've been listening to The Harrow & The Harvest several times today. Musically,. it reminds me of her early albums. There's still a bit of melancholy in the lyrics though the mood isn't as dark as in previous recordings. Overall it's an excellent release but please, not another eight years of waiting for the next disc!

This is another excellent collection from Gillian and David. The sound is more like their earlier albums than the one before this. Great stuff.

And don't miss the video demonstration on their website that shows you how to stain the heavy-weight paper jewelbox insert with coffee to nice effect. I did it to my copy-- looks great!
