2011 release, the fifth album from the Australian Alt-Rockers. A true return to their roots of '60s-influenced Garage Rock, the album was produced by Chris Colonna (from the Bumblebeez) and mixed in Paris by Julien Delfaud (Phoenix) with spiritual guidance from Philippe Zdar at his Motorbass Studio. The album is packed with the sort of killer hooks and melodic songwriting that gained them worldwide notoriety in the first place.

The Vines are set to release their new album 'Future Primitive' on June 6.

Frontman Craig Nicholls has said that the album, which was recorded with Wolf & Cub producer Chris Colonna in early 2010, was influenced by music from the 1960s.

He told Australian radio station Triple J: "There are a few three and a half minute songs but more of them are around two minutes. I just like the early singles in the '60s, how they seemed to be very short."

He added: "It's kind of changed nowadays but we’re trying to bring that back, I guess."
