Bryan Ferry has recruited Kate Moss for the cover of his forthcoming solo album 'Olympia'.
For the artwork (pictured), the model is depicted in the same pose as the 19th century Édouard Manet painting of the same name.
"Kate has long been the femme fatale of our age, as controversial as she is beautiful, and the most glamorous female icon since Marilyn Monroe," Ferry told the Metro.
He added: "Olympia was a kind of early pin-up picture and, in a sense, a forerunner of some 20th century pop art, which I feel strongly connected to."

Olympia's album cover is graced by Kate Moss, supermodel supreme and the most recognisable face in the modern fashion world. The photograph was taken by Adam Whitehead, who honed his craft under Mario Testino.

Bryan Ferry 'Olympia' Book Format This format is a deluxe, casebound hardback book, which comes in a rigid slipcase. It stands 11" x 11", with three discs that come housed in CD wallets.
CD1 - The 10-track CD album, plus 2 bonus tracks.
CD2 - A second CD of previously unreleased alternative mixes.
DVD - contains a 30-minute documentary. This consists of track-by-track interviews with Bryan Ferry as well as the production team and musicians involved. Also included on the disc is the music video for 'You Can Dance' and a behind-the-scenes featurette on the making of the album cover.
The book itself is saddle-stitched and has 40 pages of content printed on heavyweight gloss paper. It contains lyrics for each song, exclusive shots from the album cover photoshoot and two specially-commissioned essays. The first, by music journalist and long-time champion Richard Williams, details the records's content and creation. Sigh............ another artist I like has joined the "let's make it so bleeping expensive to grab a few bonus trax that my hard core fans will choose to download for free instead of buying it at the reasonable price it should have been released at" club.

This is the first I've heard of this. Can anyone tell me which track(s) David Gilmour plays on?
Gilmour plays on the tracks Me Oh My, and on Song to the Siren alongside Phil Manzanera.
This is a pretty good album although not Avalon by a long stretch, which is my favorite later year Roxy-related album.
But it does have some of the Roxy clan on here - Eno, Manzanera, but also includes Chris Spedding on a few tracks as well as Neil Hubbard and Dave Stewart...sprinkled throughout..
Haven't heard it in a while, think I'll pop it in right now!
