I want the painting that forms the cover. That is really beautiful.

This band strikes me as being similar to Creed. Overblown, self-important, with singers that I want to punch.

But unlike Creed, they usually have one song per album that they knock out of the park. I heard "Drops Of Jupiter" on the radio yesterday, and it reminded me how much I love that song, and how much I hated the rest of that album.

For anyone who cares, this is being re-released tomorrow as a cash-grabbing, fan-gouging "Golden Gate Edition" featuring several bonus tracks.

Sad state of the music business today. I can see way bands/labels do it--it keeps the release out there and doesn't let it drift away between *real* new releases, but it should have been offered at the same time as the original release. The industry bemoans the drop in cd sales, but why should I buy a new release if I can hold out and get the Deluxe edition later?

sheryl row and lenny kravitz started this crap a few years ago, but it seemed to have died off.

the success of "hey soul sister" had a lot to do with this i'm sure.
