I'm kind of surprised that aren't at least a couple of "I'm in" comments for this release. I'm a fan of both Gilmour and The Orb and this looks like it could be a spacey audio treat. I guess that means I'm in!

Gee, isn't that what QSound was supposed to do? Color me skeptical. I'm still interested in getting this disc but probably not the deluxe version.

Got the new Orb 2CD set today from Amazon UK. It has the second special mix of the album which features David Gilmour.....a must for Floyd fans!

I listened to this for the first time yesterday. I loved it but people should take heed that it is indeed an Orb album with David Gilmour guesting, not the other way around. Anyone expecting a top-to-bottom guitar extravaganza is going to be disappointed. I was a bit surprised that both sides are basically variations on the same themes, but I'm glad to hear The Orb stretching out again.

I can't seem to find the limited deluxe 2 disc edition anywhere, locally! Not even Amazon has it in stock.

The 2-CD Deluxe Edition has been released in the UK, at least:

Amazon USA:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0042BU1MK/?tag=imwan-20

Amazon UK:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0042BU1MK/?tag=imwan-21

It's not showing the correct image, though. The package actually looks like this:

The domestic release of the Deluxe Edition might very well have been cancelled.

Hmmm, strange seeing Gilmour touted as the voice and guitar of Pink Floyd. Definitely the guitar of, but only the last two Floyd albums had him featured so much on vocals.

I looked for this Tuesday but no sign of it.

I know. Roger Waters could slap the same sticker on anything he does. Bass guitar.
