Mike & The Mechanics return in 2011 with a new line-up, album and tour.
Joining Mike Rutherford (guitar/bass) are vocalists Andrew Roachford and Tim Howar. New album The Road is due in April on the Arista label. The band hit the road for a 22-date tour

Finally got around to this one yesterday. Definitely some nice things here and there, but it's sure not the same without Young and (especially) Carrack. The latter's interpretive skills could have really put a few of these songs ("Try to Save Me" and "I Don't Do Love," for instance) over the top. It's a shame Carrack skipped this in favor of doing the snooze-inducing "A Different Hat" with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
