Product Description
Juliana Hatfield, no less an intriguing, compelling character today, has been working as a recording artist for twenty years. With the release of ''How To Walk Away,'' her 10th solo album, she again proves herself to be an uncompromising artist with impeccable pop instincts, a disdain for artifice, a completely original voice, and a contrarian streak. ''How To Walk Away'' was produced by Andy Chase (of Ivy) at Stratosphere Sound in NYC and features guests Richard Butler (Psychedelic Furs) and Matthew Caws (Nada Surf) on vocals, Jody Porter (Fountains Of Wayne) on guitar, Tracy Bonham on violin, and more.

1. The Fact Remains 3:52
2. Shining On 4:53
3. This Lonely Love - Featuring Richard Butler 5:11

5. Just Lust 3:34
6. Now I'm Gone 4:05
7. Remember November 4:15
8. So Alone 3:59
9. Such A Beautiful Girl - Featuring Matthew Caws 3:51

I've always wondered if she was a junkie like her friend Evan Dando or not.

Based on her lyrics, I'd be very surprised if that was the case.

Just got around to picking this up last week at Fye's 1/2 off sale. It's really good. Her most pop acoustic release that I've heard, but excellent.

I went on a mini-Juliana binge myself, got this and a few others I hadn't gotten around to yet. I concur it's really good, as is all her stuff, catchy tunes, unique voice, such interesting chord changes. Juliana deserves much more success than she's had.

I also just got her book from 2008, When I Grow Up, am about 2/3 thru it. It's fab too, you get to see what makes her tick...

I've missed her playing solo in small clubs twice over the years. My bad. I THINK the only cd's I'm missing are the 2nd Some Girls & the brand new one.

Fye is closing a bunch of stores. No advertising AT ALL that I'm aware of; check your local store.

Thanks. They've already closed several stores around here (Philly area) but there are two left not too far away that I know of (Pottstown and Plymouth Meeting). Am not sure if they are closing those also but I wouldn't be surprised.

Suncoast video (owned by FYE) is also closing some stores under similar circumstances.

I didn't even know Suncoast was still around. I remember them years ago but they seemed to have disappeared round these parts when Blockbuster came around and put most every other rental place out of business.
