I was going to say hasn't he done this already vis a vis his unplugged release several years ago? My guess is the tracks here didn't make the release so he feels compelled to do this one more time. Bryan needs to be carful at this critical juncture of his career otherwise he'll end up on the "classic rock, oldies" tours with Styx, REO Speedwagon & .38 Special!

Bump: added Standard Edition pre-order details to the first post. It appears that the only difference between it and the Deluxe Edition is that the latter comes in a digipak sleeve — "for Bryan's greatest fans", as the description says. In that case, some of us might prefer to be one of Bryan's "lesser" fans and get the Standard Edition instead.
(The release has also been brought forward by one week, to November 16th.)
