This simply reminds me I have to pick up Lindsey's. Stevie's I'm less interested in...although the Rosemont Theatre is one of best sounding rooms in the Chicagoland area.

got to tell you, i was a little disappointed in lindsey's vocals. the studio definitely does him justice.

I agree with you Renny. Not only that, but live he has these vocal "tics" that drive me nuts!
At least in the studio he reels them in...

I'd really like to see an official dvd & cd release of her 1st live VHS, which was just titled "Stevie Nicks In Concert". The killer version of Edge Of 17 from that show is the live one on the box set, she does a great version of Tom Petty's Need To Know & the whole show smokes.

I second Geff R.'s emotion. According to a previous IMWAN thread from a year ago, Stevie's first 3 albums were to have been released in August 07 with tons of bonus tracks, full extra CD's worth for the first 2. Then the HBO concert was to have been released on DVD in its entirety with extras.

Anyone know the scoop on why this ain't been done?

No full track listing yet, but in addition to the hits (both solo and Fleetwood Mac), she reportedly recorded "Circle Dance" with special guest Vanessa Carlton, and a cover version of Dave Matthew Band's "Crash into Me." I expect both will be included. Sure hope so.

can't blame lindsey for this one.
hers was the only concert i had front row center seats for.
it was the bella donna tour in dallas. it was also her birthday
so that was a cool plus. her dad brought her out flowers if i
remember right.

The initial solicitation (months ago) was for a CD/DVD combo set, now it seems to have been split in two, including different titles for each format.

I don't know whatz gonna be on the DVD, but here's what was on the PBS broadcast of the concert back in July, a 2 part-er, 2 hours long. It was a pretty good show, very similar to the 1981 HBO concert, Waddy on guitar, a few of the same backup singers, 5 of the same songs:

She's been covering Bob Seger's "Face the Promise" in concert this year. Too bad it's not featured on this.

I want to be careful here. The following is a quote from Wikipedia. I must have read the article in question at the time.
