Deluxe edition of their 2007 album now comes with a bonus DVD (NTSC/Region 0) that features four tracks recorded live at Wembley in 07; 'Bank Holiday Monday', 'My Friends', 'Pass The Buck' and 'It Means Nothing'. Written by Kelly Jones and featuring the impressive lead single 'It Means Nothing', it combines the band’s rockiest and most melodic aspects in one blazing LP that comes out fighting on all fronts. A 12-track tour de force, it looks set to be one of the definitive albums of their incredible ten-year career. Produced by Kelly and Jim Lowe (Foo Fighters, Manic Street Preachers), [title]Pull The Pin[/title] is a Rock record of epic proportions. Mixed by Spike Stent, whose previous credits include U2, Depeche Mode and Massive Attack, it’s a welcome return for the band and follows a decade of uninterrupted commercial success.

What an amazing band-how in the hell have these guys not gotten bigger here in the States? They rock and they write great songs, and the music is energetic, guitar-driven and has good hooks. They're not overtly British or anything, so what gives? They rock by God, they do!

Ok, I have a question regarding the release. I picked it up last week when I picked up The Firemen, and I have playing this A LOT. (Both actually).

I am tempted to add to a top ten list for 2008 (I am hoping to add my list to the thread this weekend). However, I see a 2007 copywrite. So how does this play? Do we consider a re-issue or new release (since it is domestic). I am confused?!!

This will actually have more of an impact on the 2008 Disc I make for Christmas gifts, as I avoid re-release and archive/live material on it (which I may work around by making a Deluxe Edition with a Bonus disc to cover some of those highlights). However, I want to add a track from this.

This came out in 2007 everywhere but here, similar to Joe Cocker's "Hymn To My Soul" and Ray Davies' "Working Man's Cafe" which were both 2007 releases elsewhere, but 2008 here. As for the Stereophonics release, it's not a re-issue, since this a first time issue in the States, but hey, it's your comp, do what you want with it!
And, yes, it's another kick-ass release from these guys!
