The American Laundromat label has announced details of a forthcoming Cure tribute album.

The 16-track CD titled "JUST LIKE HEAVEN – A TRIBUTE TO THE CURE", features The Wedding Present, Dean & Britta, The Brunettes, The Submarines, Tanya Donelly & Dylan in the Movies, The Rosebuds, Elk City, Devics, Grand Duchy (Violet Clark & Black Francis), Joy Zipper, The Poems and many more covering the Cure's most popular songs. The CD is slotted for a January 27, 2009 worldwide release but American Laundromat is now accepting pre-orders exclusively from their website at a special price with a November ship date for pre-order customers only. The pre-order CD will feature a bonus hidden track, promo pin, and a chance to win an autographed copy by a band of the winner's choice.

"Just Like Heaven" was produced by Joseph H. Spadaro and Gwen Marie Hysler (ALR). Mastering by Kim Rosen at Alan Douches' West West Side Music (Galaxie 500, Luna, Ben Folds Five, Fleetwood Mac, The Wrens), and original album art & design by Rhode Island Illustrator Melinda Rainsberger.
