There was talk he was writing with Jim Vallance again. I wonder if any of those songs ended up on this album. I'd love to hear a whole album with them reunited.

I'm curious, some of these titles (i.e. Broken Wings, Something To Believe In, Mysterious Ways, Walk On By) look like covers-is this a covers album?

That's what I was thinking. I also noticed the title "She's Got a Way" Billy Joel perhaps?

None of these songs are covers, all are origianls. Jim Vallance & Mutt Lange co-wrote a few songs with Adams. The Japanese version has a bonus track WAY OF THE WORLD...no, it is not called "12".

"Way of the World" is also one of two b-sides on the single for "I Thought I'd Seen Everything." The other (and better, in my book) is "Miss America."
As for the full CD, it's pretty good, although several tracks are of too similar a tempo to stand out after just a couple of listens. "Oxygen," though, is a great one.
Incidentally, if any Bryan Adams fans have never heard of Shannon Noll, you owe it to yourself to check out his CDs, "Lift" and "Turn It Up." He was a runner-up on "Australian Idol" a few years ago, and he has been by far the biggest success that show has produced. He did a few West Coast showcases early this year, so maybe a US release will happen soon.

I bet there will be a "special/deluxe/bonus song/dvd" edition in a month or two.

It's the '11' Hour for Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams has recorded 11 songs for his 11th album of original material, a collection he just promoted during an 11-day, 11-country promotional tour in Europe. The new disc, recorded in hotel rooms and backstage at venues over the past two years, is called (big surprise) 11. His first studio release in four years, arrives May 13 and will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart. The Canadian singer produced nine songs and co-produced first single "I Thought I'd Seen Everything" and "We Found What We Were Looking For" with Mutt Lange. In addition to selling 65 million albums since his 1980 debut, Adams has built a reputation as a photographer. He recently shot the 2008 Guess ad campaign. Watch for summer tour dates.
