The Soft Addictions features spirited performances by members of Stanley's touring band “The Resonators” as well as indie legends, Don Dixon & Marti Jones. Longtime cohort and mentor, Bill Szymczyk, mixed the album.

From the powerful loss-of-innocence opener “The Curves Of Bratenahl” through “Mallory”, a rocking bit of advice to young lady on the brink of womanhood, to the sadly hopeful closer “No Rules When You Dream”, The Soft Addictions is the kind of musical tour de force that you have come to expect from Michael Stanley.
