Roger Joseph Manning Jr. has mentioned in a few podcasts and interviews that he's been working on songs with fellow ex-Jellyfish bandmates Eric Dover and Tim Smith. It's very specifically NOT a new Jellyfish project, as Roger and Andy Sturmer haven't spoken since the band broke up. This has been as schedules allow for the last few years, but Eric Dover was recently quoted as saying there were a dozen songs complete.

We have a band name and release date!

Obviously, 2/20/2020 has come and gone. Eric Dover is saying on his FB page to look for something on 3/13.

OK, so it looks like they're releasing a single on March 13, called "Lighthouse Spaceship." The "Threesome Vol. 1" EP will follow May 15th.

Oh, heck yeah.

My understanding of this song is that Roger found a list of archaic slang for sex. He worked a bunch of it in, but his favorite was "fadoodle."

REALLY enjoying this. The first half is pretty Jellyfishesque, and Lighthouse Spaceship is like Imperial Drag, but the real sleeper for me is There Is A Magic Number. It very much sounds like Tim wrote it with Sheryl Crow in mind - he played on a couple of her albums and toured with her. But the ambiance and layers of production took it in a very different direction, like Together Alone-era Crowded House.

Can't wait for Volume 2.
