If you're not nice
Stanley tweeted out this photo of himself and the Soul Station band today, along with a message that they're recording a proper album with "horns and strings":

That single is HORRIBLE. Auto-tune is bad enough, but having to auto-tune something like this is just pathetic. If that single is any indication, the Peter Criss solo album is likely 10 times better than this will be.

It's especially disappointing after hearing the "lockdown" performance posted directly above in this thread... just antiseptic.

I got a signed copy of this. I will say I was not excited about this album, but I was curious. It's pretty good. It's not a Kiss album, so you don't get that Paul Stanley. For the vast majority of it, he stays in the range he's capable of hitting. The cover arrangements are pretty faithful. The surprise is that the original songs on here fit pretty seamlessly. They don't come across as someone trying to write in an unfamiliar style. If you didn't know they were originals, it's not a stretch to think they're just obscure tracks from the era.
It is kind of amusing to me that Paul put this out after 40 years of bashing Peter's solo album (which I always liked). To my mind, both albums are just guys singing the kind of music they grew up liking.

My take on Peter's solo album is that it's a good album...it just wasn't what I was expecting to hear at age 12.
