The amazing Chrissie Hynde displays yet another volte face in her incredible career with the release of her new album ‘Valve Bone Woe’ on September 6.

The album features 14 tracks written by a stunning array of classic songwriters and innovators, including Brian Wilson, Frank Sinatra, Hoagy Carmichael, Charlie Mingus, John Coltrane, Nick Drake, Ray Davies and Rodgers and Hammerstein.

‘Valve Bone Woe’ was produced by Marius De Vries and Eldad Guetta and recorded with the Valve Bone Woe Ensemble at Air Studios in London.

When Amazon UK has a limited signed edition of a release, it tends to sell out quickly -- usually before the release date -- so if you want a copy, lock it in early:

Did anyone else order the signed edition? Mine arrived yesterday and it's factory sealed with no evidence of signature. Afraid to open it to see if signature is on inside, as this was the only reason I bought this.
The shipping receipt confirms that this should be signed.

Mine arrived today - after opening I found that Chrissie had signed the cover of the booklet..

My guess is that you should be good opening it... if not I would complain to your vendor..

Thank you. Just like you said, it was the cover of the booklet. Interesting that the hype sticker is directly on the digi-pack.

I had the same concern about the lack of obvious signature, too. I'm glad I opened it. It's a nice album!!

I'm really loving the album. Her voice has remained as strong as ever and is well suited for this kind of material.

Yes, I've had it on heavy rotation since it came out. A really nice detour in her discography.
