EarMusic is proud to announce the release ‘Here Come The Aliens’, the first studio album in seven years by pop icon Kim Wilde on March 16th, 2018.

‘Here Come The Aliens’, produced by Ricky Wilde, contains 12 brand new songs and it has been recorded at RAK Studios in London - the very same recording studios where a big number of albums that changed pop and rock music were born and where Kim began her career back in 1981, recording seminal hits as ‘Kids In America’, ‘Chequered Love’ and ‘Cambodia’. The album combines Kim’s pop roots with her love for rock music, presenting great guitar riffs and drum beats.

I love Kim Wilde. After being less than thrilled by her post MCA records (they're okay, just not great), this new one is a real treat. It is almost as though she went back and picked up where her RAK records left off. The pop is there, the harmonies, the personality, but not the dance-y sheen of the MCA years. I'm extremely pleasantly surprised.

Will there be any CDs released this year that I will play and enjoy more than this one? Not likely. This is the Kim Wilde album I've wanted her to make for decades. It's fabulous.

I'm with Dean and David on this: I love this album...very tuneful songs, and Kim sounds terrific! "Pop Don't Stop" is my current favorite song.
