I was thinking about it and realized that I've seen more movies in the theater this year than ever before in such a short time span. How about you guys? Here is a list of all films released thus far in 2012, and all that will be released throughout the rest of the year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_in_film

I've seen 8 movies so far this year:
Cabin in the Woods, The Raven, Dark Shadows, Rock of Ages, Snow White and the Huntsman, The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and Prometheus

Lemme think:
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (although technically that's a 2011 release), The Woman in Black, Chronicle, Silent House, Cabin in the Woods, The Avengers (2x), Prometheus, Rock of Ages, The Dark Knight Rises (3x).
So 9, although I might be forgetting one or two. I wanted to see The Raven and Dark Shadows despite the tepid reviews for both.
