Phantom Zone. Negative Zone is like some crazy place to explore and run around in, assuming you aren't killed getting there. The Phantom Zone, you get to watch the world go by and have literally nothing to interact with for eternity.

You forgot the Forbidden Zone from Planet of the Apes....but, of the listed zones, only the erogenous zones seem appealing: the Forbidden Zone doesn't sound that great, either....but it was in POTA, so I guess I'll vote for that one.

After living on the east coast for a while and having to endure prime time TV starting at 8:00pm I couldn't wait to get back to CST and a normal TV life.

Staying up until 1:30am to watch the end of Letterman and to START watching Later with Bob Costas was brutal.

I agree, I wish I was in central time. The shows are all on at a more reasonable time.

For the purposes of the poll, it's gotta be Twilight, all due respect to Negative and Phantom.

I like the CST for TV viewing, but I was always under the impression the East coast set the time that they desired to watch TV, which for some reason was a bit later in the day, and we in the central standard zone watched things an hour earlier whether we liked it or not. So I would guess most on the east coast like starting their primetime viewing at 8 p.m. I don't know why. 7 p.m. always seemed more ideal to me, but maybe I'm just used to it.

I guess maybe because the kids are in bed and now the grownups can watch grownup TV?

It's from the classic 9-5 workday for the middle class folks, IMO. Eat dinner, read the paper, then watch your prime time shows starting at 8. Watch the news until 11:30, catch Carson's monologue, and go to bed.
