If they fought,who would win?
And by extension, who's the better writer---Edgar Rice Burroughs or Robert E. Howard?

We've done this one before, but I would personally go with Conan.

Conan hasn't been the same since moving to TBS, so I'll go with Tarzan.

I have about an equal number of Tarzan and Conan comic books.
Which is to say, not too many.

But I have read more actual Tarzan books than Conan stories, and I
have watched (and own) more Tarzan movies. I think Tarzan wins this.

Tarzan gets my vote; the ape factor will win me over every single time.

There was that essay REH wrote about the white furred, carnivorous apes that had once inhabited Thuria. Ape connections are always a must for adding some kind of weirdness factor into things.

Roy Thomas created a thinly veiled Tarzan knock-off he named Amra, Lord of the Lions to battle Conan.

I hate to say it, but I don't think this guy has a chance against the Lord of the Apes:

You have a deft touch when it comes to the loincloth on Amra/Tarzan.

It's not often you'll get a compliment like one, either. Only here, on IMWAN, could such a thing be said and fully understood.

It was a dyed zebra-skin. They were quite popular during the bronze-age.

Look at the original cover again -- those aren't tiger stripes, they're folds of the cloth. I added some leopard looking spots on them, just like Buscema used to do (since this is a Buscema drawing).
