Ya, I'm a big fan of Ryan's work and the book.

He's good. I only read the first few issues of Invincible, but he is an amazing artist.

Actually, Cory Walker drew the first few issues of Invincible (and is an awesome artist as well). Ottley took over as of issue #8.

I remember Ryan from his "Uncle Wya" days at Digital Webbing. He was great then and he never stopped delivering.

He's pretty darn talented, hopefully he'll get a high profile gig and find a wider audience.

I have an irrational distaste for his art because of Invincible being oversold to me on numerous occasions. I think that if people had just told me to try the series out, I would've enjoyed it. But it was pushed on me as the greatest thing evuh, and it fell short.

I need to read him in a stealth series where I don't know who he is to get my brain straight. Like hiding a dog's pill in peanut butter.

I imagine he could easily get a job at the Big Two -- he's just really committed to doing Invincible because he believes in the book.

And ink. He's a beast.

I also LOVE the way his inks look on Erik Larsen's pencils. I wish Erik had a clean, crisp line like this --
