It's interesting that with Adams' limited output, they gave him a Squirrel Girl cover.

It's great though- love seeing all those villains.

All that stuff with her in the Great Lakes Avengers was great.

Great cover... EXCEPT SG's face doesn't look right to me. Actually, the rest of her doesn't look right either... unless that's her new look.

I wish that superheroines would allow themselves to age gracefully, instead of overdoing it with the plastic surgery.

I think in this case the plastic surgery is working. Dr. Adams gave her quite the boob job. :-)

Squirrel Girl is so much cooler than Wonder Woman, it's not even funny.

Truth. If positioned properly by Marvel/Disney, she could be the next Rocket Raccoon.

When I read her first apperance I thought she'd be a one off character. No way she would be a well known character let alone star in her own comic book. I'm pleased to see I was wrong.

I've never read a single story featuring Squirrel Girl. From what I understand, her improbable (to say the least) invincibility has become something of a standing in-joke at Marvel.

Why not? It's not like Marvel is going to be using it for any FF books!

I know that technically he isn't the creator (any more than Roger Stern or John Byrne created She-Hulk), but since Squirrel Girl would only have been a one-joke character that die-hard Marvel fans would have just talked about on message boards without this guy's help, I sincerely hope that Dan Slott is acknowledge in some way in this mini-series.

With all due respect to the great job the Disney did with Big Hero 6, I think Squirrel Girl and the Great Lakes Avengers would make an IDEAL animated feature if done right. I suspect that if they were to do so, they would fictionalize the other Marvel heroes (like turning Nick Fury into "Dick Anger") but I would still think it would be great.

Didn't realize this book came out last week. I bought it on-line and am reading it right now. Aside from the fact that I think the artist tried a little too hard to make Doreen look dorky, Squirrel Girl isn't She-Hulk and you want to draw her the same. My gut reaction so far?

Can we get this writer and artist in a time machine and give them David Poule's She-Hulk? Please?

Eventually, this book is going to get cancelled. But until it does, Marvel needs to
