That new comic book smell.
The squeak from the comic book rack as it turned, announcing to everyone in the drugstore that I had arrived.
Misleading covers.
Trying to guess inkers without looking at the credits.
Trading them with my friends. (Still can't believe that my best friend traded me all of his Brave & Bolds for my DC Comics Presents. Sucker.)
Three packs of Marvels and DC's at the dollar store.
The superhero and super-villain costumes.
The cliffhangers that used to keep me awake at night for fear that I would miss the next issue.
The ads for all those crazy novelties.
Sneaking them to school and reading them during class.

It's nothing but pure, undiluted things about comics that are awesome. How could I not include it?
