Evil Roy Slade is pretty good. Always like John Astin.

Yes, of course it is! A bloody, over the top, violent one. :)

Blazing Saddles defines the genre. Hard to make any more because that one just about covered all the high and low points. :D

I'll rent this new McFarlane one when it comes to DVD. By the trailer it at least looks like fun.

Exactly. It wouldn't be fair keeping it down to one choice since not only is the best comedy western obvious, but there are people who consider that film to be the best film comedy PERIOD of all time. (Apologies to the AFI and Billy Wilder who directed Some Like It Hot.)

"The Apple Dumpling" gang was the very first movie I ever saw on the big screen.

I like both of James Garner's "Support Your..." movies but Blazing Saddles is not only the best comedy western but possibly the best comedy, period.

OK, home from seeing A Million Ways...., and guess what? It's funny. Some things stupid funny, some things smart funny; overall, very funny. Now, to decide if it merits a second=place vote.

I love Seth's stuff that I've exposed myself to...but that's in 22 minute doses on Family Guy. Will it overkill me with a 2 hour movie or is there enough "there" in there to entertain for a whole movie? Is it OK for teens (14-16), or overly vulgar/sexual? I ask because I value IMWAN people opinions over anything I can Google, and I kind of want to see it, and only go to theaters with my teen sons. :)

I thought it was funny as well. There's some vulgar/sexual stuff, some scatological humor and some drug humor, but I don't know what you're kids have been exposed to Jeff. If they've seen any other R-rated comedies from the last few years, then this will probably not expose them to anything they haven't already heard or seen. :)
