I've collected all the floppies since the first issue, which is now fetching $70 on the back issue market. I haven't gotten around to reading them yet, but I love the artwork, and it's gotten rave reviews so I think I'm on to a winner here.

I read the first 3 volumes from my library. Very good (quirky, skewed, dark comedy). Big fan of Powell's art.

Love it, although I'm a couple trades behind in my reading. Powell's art is fantastic.

I don't mind Rob Steinbrenner much.

How many Goon TPB's are out there? This is one of those books that I want to read, but I'm going to go the way of TPB's first(like I did with Walking Dead).

I don't know why that's not showing up as an Imwan link.

I'm not sure which first issue of Goon that is fetching 70, the self-published one or the Dark Horse one. I think I bought those two self-published issues before Powell went with Dark Horse. I'm pretty sure I discovered the Goon before it became a success for Dark Horse.

I'm catching up on the Goon. Boy, that Chinatown story is one of the best things that I have read in a long time. Powell really kicked ass with this one.

Li'l Jay, if you haven't read this Goon story, you need to pick it up. It's right in your wheelhouse as you like to say.

I have always heard good things. Seems like I read something militant or political from Eric Powell, and got turned off. But it could have been a mistake for someone else. Good thing I'm not a serial killer, because I would be a mentally lazy one in choosing my victims.

I may check it out.
