He was a great newsman and his influence will certainly be missed. I wonder who they will pick to try and fill those shoes?
And with Jennings gone and now Bradley, are we witnessing the slow end of hard network journalism? Because I can't think of anyone in the next generation who is going to be able to pick up the reigns and continue.
Ed Bradley was 41 when he joined 60 Minutes having spent the previous 10 years covering the Middle East and the White House. Who these days has those same credentials with the same amount of journalistic integrity?
