I've never read Thunderbolts, but I have read Dark Avengers and I really enjoyed it, for what that is worth.

This is actually vote for me. Loved Ostrander's Suicide Squad back in the day but I stuck with Thunderbolts a lot longer And really dug Bagley's art and character designs.

The "reveal" at the end of Thunderbolts #1 was an amazingly well-kept secret.

Got to go with the Suicide Squad here. Not only was Busiek's run much shorter than Ostrander's, but Ostrander was able to wrap the ending very very well, and close off an absolutely great title. He even managed to kill himself in the process.

He didn't kill himself; he killed Grant Morrison.

Fraxon! wrote: The "reveal" at the end of Thunderbolts #1 was an amazingly well-kept secret. Amazing job keeping it a secret, probably impossible now. I recently thought how cool it would be if Marvel and DC did another crossover, kept it COMPLETELY secret and have the last panel in, lets say an Avengers book, be Superman. Just shock the hell out of people. Steve Kipling wrote: Ostrander Suicide Squad I liked it for a brief time when Geof Isherwood drew it, especially the Bronze Tiger.

I don't like Bronze Tiger without his tiger head. It's like having a John Constantine who isn't blonde.
