Never read much of either, but from what I have read I'm going with Kirby.

I love Kirby, but I haven't read the whole Kamandi run. On the other hand, the Monech/Seinkewicz Moon Knight run is one of my prized possessions. Moonine-Woonie wins this one for me.

Still not a Moon Knight/Seinkewicz fan, so Kamandi takes it.

I vote for Kamandi.......but I fear he will not make it to round 3. Kamandi would want me to forgive you.

Kirby got a first-round pass from me for being Kirby and involving a post-apocalypic world, but not this time. Moon Knight is a better comic in almost every regard, and even this early on Sienkiewicz was pushing the boundaries of what mainstream comic art could look like. Daring, dynamic, and will to break the rules, his stunning work (and Moench's excellent creation) trump this lesser Kirby work.

Wow, Kirby is losing.

Not that I'm complaining, mind you -- I voted for MOON KNIGHT, after all -- but I'm surprised to see that happen on this board.

More Kirby next round. No harm if you vote against him. This time.

Have to agree.

I don't think that Moon Knight is a great character. (He's basically a poor man's Batman.) The stories are just that good, though! You also see Sienkiewicz really maturing as an artist. He starts the run as a Neal Adams clone and then breaks off into his own.

From issue 1, Kamandi was going full speed ahead. Moon Knight was sputtering for the first 12 issues or so, as Moench and Sienkiewicz tried to figure out what to do. (Or so it seemed to me. Istill wince at the "No Smoking/Moon Kings" issue.

Plus, Kamandi has talking monkeys!

So Kamandi it is.

Never read Moon Knight. Love Kamandi. I am uninformed. Yet I vote anyway. :)
