There's a number of good ones on the list, but An American Werewolf in London takes it. Scary, funny, and at the time, mind blowing special effects.

Dog Soldiers for me, although An American Werewolf in London comes very close.

Since a wolfman is not a werewolf, and wolfman is not in the thread title, I'd say no.

American Werewolf In London was classic stuff....but I voted for The Howling.

Wolfmans got Nards!

Brotherhood Of The Wolf (2001) is an awesome film. Great sound surround too.

"Wolfman" is pretty much the grandaddy of them all, although "Werewolf of London" did precede it. It's also the only werewolf movie I've ever watched, unless you count "Prisoner of Azkaban" and a couple of really obscure B movies.

An American Werewolf In London. Howling is a close second.

The Wolfman. Groundbreaking make-up approach, truly sympathetic "hero." And bonus points for Bela Lugosi.

Nothing like Robert Picardo getting a little freaky.
