The original Star Wars trilogy will be his greatest legacy. No question.

On the left he kinda looks like Warren Beatty. On the right, someone's Grandpa. Obviously Star Wars will be his legacy.

Star Wars in general is obviously his greatest legacy. Movies, books, video games, TV shows, toys, models, Lego, on and on. Star Wars is ingrained deeply into our culture for long to come.

I started watching American Graffiti again last night. It should be his legacy. It's his best complete movie.

Ancillary product marketing should be his legacy.

That's funny. I love Larry David. I think the funniest thing he ever said was, "The closest I ever came to death was when one time I masturbated while I had the flu."

No, Wedge Ancillary was an X-Wing pilot.

Probably the trillions of gigabytes that have been consumed on the internet by people complaining about his movies.

Yeah. This really is no contest. There is no option for Star Wars in general so I guess I will just vote for A New Hope.

I'm not sure. Let's wait a few more years until he releases his new abstract and artistic films and we'll revisit the question.

Fuckin' A.
I'm as "the prequels failed to be super awesome" as anyone else, but YEAH.
Really.
Get the fuck over it. Some folks act as if there was this great chasm of quality that opened up once the prequels came out, as if the original movies
weren't pulpy nonsense.
I love 'em, and they had a TON happening that the prequels didn't, LOADS, they are WAY better ...
But they are still pulp stories, just like the prequels. And the prequels had awesome sword fights.

The prequels were a little too up their own ass and pretentious to be "pulpy" for me. Pulps tend not to have long bullshit about Senates.
That said, I am not the type who gets super worked up over it. I acknowledge the lost opportunity, but eh.

I wish I had added an option of "creating the greatest thing ever -Star Wars- and then ruining it." Because I now think it is more than just a binary choice.
