The roast beef may not taste like beef, but the snozzberries taste like snozzberries.

You should open your mouth a little wider when you speak, Chris.

I know for a fact they slice it (whatever "it" is made of) to order, because the Arbys near our house has the slicer visible from the front, and you can see them slicing it.

NOW you ask me? I was just hanging out with the guy a few hours ago. You have to give me some notice when you make these requests, Ed.

Hmmm... I like asparagus wings, broccoli pizza and ketchup-flavored tofu (A favorite on Mimicka). But other than that I'm not very familiar with Earthly junk food...

I remember Birdie the Early Bird's debut among the McDonaldland cast of characters, and thinking it was a pretty big deal at the time.

How far back? Well.....I remember (fart noise)....back in teh daaayy(fart noise)..
I remember when 'carls jr' was an ACTUAL restaurant. A sit down type of place. Kinda like a Denny's.
Good times..I remember alot of long collars and polyester during those times as well. What a codger I be. (fart noise)

Does anyone remember Sambo's?
We made a few stops there while on road trips.

We made a few stops there while on road trips. Yes, we ate at one in LA in 1980 or so when the family was out there visiting friends. Two terrible things happened that day. First, my pancakes had broken GLASS fragments in them. Fortunately, I didn't suffer any ill effects from swallowing one piece of the glass. Second, I had a Popeye the sailor hat I had worn in, and during all the commotion when we left I forgot it. It was gone when we remembered and checked back later.

Sambos???? Oh jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze! I totally remember Sambos!! Wow...I dug sambos. They had some good food there if I remember correctly. I remember one time...I was just a wee lad mind you, But one time I was playing near the food pick up line. I had this really cool plastic toy that a very cute waitress gave me. Red head if I remember right. Anyway...I tossed it up and hit an empty glass. It broke and fell into some sandwiches and pancakes. I scurried to get as much of it out as possible. I think I did a good job. But I felt pretty stupid about it. Also. I found this AWESOME sailor hat!! It was sooooo fricken cool!!! I wore it all the rest of my meal there! when we left (with my sailor hat neatly stuffed inside my jacket.) I remember looking out my car window. It was very sad....I saw this little boy..My age....weeeping. I heard him sobbing something about "Popeye!! I wan' my Popeye (something)"I felt really bad for him. I took one last look out my back window. At that boy with the fonzy tshirt and now wetted trousers... I could swear I saw him mouth something about "justice will be served....Popeye (something) stealers are a cowardly lot.."I to this day,,,have no idea what that means. I hope he's doing well. In any case. I have that sailor hat up for sale on EBAY! ANY TAKERS???

I remember back to 2006. They had this really cool place, you could get hamburgers after you talk into a speaker. Usually cost around $0.99.

The racist fried chicken franchise in Ghost World got me thinking about Sambo's.
Wasn't that long ago that we had those places.
