There's a new play performing in Washington, D.C. It's a biopic about Superman creator Jerry Siegel and it is set in a dream he is having on his deathbed. He talks about his life with his "son" Superman. Also, the Holocaust figures in the play as well. Don't know if I'll see it (it closes July 8th) but it sounds interesting. Has anybody else seen in when it was in Cincinnati?

I have seen a few plays. My wife and I will probably go see one on Broadway for our 1 year anniversary.

Hopefully Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark will still be playing at that point.

Hanzo, I changed the title of this thread. I think this is a play you'd like, but even by MY standards the thread title was too obscure. What's important isn't whether YOU have seen this play, but if anybody has seen THIS play.

One more thing I was thinking about. Although Alan Moore has also been screwed over by both DC and Marvel, Jerry Siegel would have loved to have been in a postition to turn down the royalties both DC and Marvel were gladly willing to pay him.

Against all odds, Spider-Man has become a big hit on Broadway. It's playing at 90+% capacity, should keep going for years.

One more thing if you do see it----the Holocaust plays a MAJOR role in the play and according to the review I read, at one point a gas chamber is depicted on the stage.

THAT can't possibly be about the REAL Superman. In the ad depicted
he has on these funny red underpants over his Kryptonian battle armour,
no red belt holding up nothing, and no El family crest on his chest.
Why is someone trying to falsely credit the Siegel guy with creating
a character made by the DC commitee?
