I had to go with The Great Escape.
I think The Reivers should be up there as well. He made a perfect Boon Hoggenbeck, a character that is quite popular around here, as you might guess.
McQueen was one of the few actors my father didn't think was gay. I think the others were Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson and Robert Mitchum. He even had his doubts about John Wayne and said that he seemed a little "fruity" at times.

Bullitt, for the still-amazing car chases.

I voted for The Blob, but The Getaway is a great rainy-Sunday-afternoon kinda movie.

The Great Escape, hands down. But then it is one of the best movies ever.

I saw Towering Inferno probably 4 or 5 times in the theater back in '74.

This past year, I watched Tom Horn for the first time. Not your average western.
Great Escape gets the win for me. I DVR it every time that it's on TMC, then watch it at least twice before deleting it. If a prisoner of war escape movie can work sports into the plot, you have the perfect guy movie trifecta (Motorcycle racing in the Great Escape, soccer in Victory...).
Besides, in the Great Escape, McQueen played both an American AND a Nazi.
