I refuse to read another fairy tale until Humpty Dumpty starts wearing armor.

I refuse to read another fairy tale until Little Red Riding Hood becomes a snarky sourpuss.

I refuse to read another fairy tale until Little Red Riding Hood strips Humpty Dumpty from his armor and screws him on panel.

I'd be keen to read some of these once they're translated into English.

I wonder when the association between Humpty Dumpty and him being an egg, first happened.

It's one of those things that you realise isn't mentioned in the actual rhyme, yet everyone see him as being an egg.

Interesting point, CAT. Wikipedia says the rhyme was originally posed as a riddle, to which the answer was deemed to be an egg.

You guys are ruining our cool thread about German fairy tales with talk of Mother Goose rhymes.

Fake fairy tale fans.
