This is next on my Netflix queue. Is it a good film?
I know the hero is going to be Scotty next year in Star Trek...

Nice to know that if the Enterprise is under attack by zombies,
they have a chief engineer who knows how to handle the situation!

Pretty funny (and gory). If you like it, rent Hot Fuzz.

Hilarious movie, full of fun and lots of gore. I didn't care for Hot Fuzz as I did this one.

Absolutely loved it. Funny, sad, shocking, and entertaining from start to finish.

Shaun of the Dead is a brilliant film.

Hilariously funny, smart, and touching. Good and gory as well.

Hot Fuzz is also great, but not as good.

Ross is lame.

You gave him more opinions than he was asking for.

Guess which one?

First half is funny. Last half is pretty much a standard zombie movie. I'd say it's an average film overall.

First half of Trevor's post is correct. Last half is not. I'd say it's a typical post of Trevor's overall.

Shaun of the Dead is great, so great in fact that George Romero liked it. Simon Pegg & his buddy were in Land of the Dead as a result(they were the zombies chained to the wall in the bar that you could take your pictures with).

I give Chris's post two thumbs down. Way down.

I loved it. Hot Fuzz was quite good too. Any one who liked either of these moves should check out Spaced the TV series that started it all.

Yeah,Spaced was pretty funny.I loved Shaun of the Dead, and I enjoyed seeing Hot Fuzz at the cinema.
Shaun of the Dead is one of those movies you can easily watch more than once.(It was weird to see the guy from Black Books as a guy Shaun does not like)

Agreed. I've watched it more than a dozen times, and have turned at least that many people on to it.

The DVD also has one of the funniest blooper reels I have ever seen.

Tons of cameos in that movie. Loved the people they picked to be the doppelganger crew that they run into.

Then Shaun and his mom pop up in Doctor Who... very cool.

Yeah at least one of the guys from the old Hitchhiker's Guide mini. Were there Doctor Who people in it? If so, I probably knew that but forgot. :)

I wasn't sure I was going to like it for the firts 20 minutes or so and then it got awesome as soon as the zombies showed up. After knowing it was going to be good (and not wary that I would have to sit through 2 hours of not so funny stuff) I found the first bit really funny too.

I had to actually convince Ian to go to this with me even though we got free tickets! He was like oh it'll probably suck. It looks like it'll be good so I'll just be disappointed. He is happy I made him go now. :)

You might want to take him to see Flight of the Living Dead. Why?

Spoiler: show
Because at the very end, just when it seemed everyone is safe, THE ZOMBIES INVADE CANADA!!!

Loved Shaun of the Dead. Did not like Hot Fuzz one bit. I saw it in a drive-in, and kept falling asleep.

Still haven't seen Hot Fuzz, it looked like it might not be as good but advertisements are missleading so I figured I'd see it anyway. I keep hearing that it's good so, I probably will see it at some point, whenever I'm in a rental place and remember I wanted to see it. Thosr two events rarely happen at the same time for me.
