I guess Archie has a few digests going. So they get steady business and they are poised to become a major player.

Their superhero line could be the tipping point.

A kid in a check-out line that sees a book featuring characters that are a mix of the Marvel movies and the adventure series on Cartoon Network... it's worth a shot for sure.

YOU GUYS ARCHIE STOLE MY IDEA

It would be hilarious if Archie ended up being the last major publisher standing.

That's possible. Archie's overhead is nowhere as high as Marvel's or DC's. They operate out of a small building in Mamaroneck, NY, not high priced offices in NYC.

I hear their page rates are low, too.

No royalties, either. And their contracts blow.

Gotta be better than the JMS Red Circle line. Those comics sucked.

They should totally put you in charge of their science fiction/fantasy/horror line. VertiArchie, mudderfuggers!

New artist for the series: Alitha Martinez.

I'm surprised to find out that Archie comics are collected in trades, with some getting the hardcover treatment.

I might buy a couple of Kevin Kellers, one for me and one to donate to my public library.

He's back, too. Every issue of Archie & Friends Double Digest from #7 on has featured Pureheart. They are up to #17.

I've been known to grab an Archie Digest at the check-out line from time to time...
