A little over two years ago I had a stroke and was diagnosed with End Stage Kidney Failure. It took a little while for physical therapy to work, but - except for dialysis - I'm feeling close to normal. Dialysis sucks, though. I know it's a necessary evil, but it can be a little grinding. The good news is that several people have volunteered to be a kidney donor! The bad news is, mainly because of dialysis, it's hard for me find work and get private insurance, so I'm stuck with Social Security and Disability. Social security helps, but a lot of belt tightening has been required. After the kidney transplant, I'll have to be anti-rejection meds for the rest of my life - and they aren't cheap. A fundraising campaign has been setup to help pay for transplant costs and anti-rejection meds for me, it can found at
https://helphopelive.org/campaign/16998/.
If you can donate, it would be *greatly* appreciated. If not, that's OK too - just please say "hi", all of your support really does matter to me.
Thanks!
Dan
