Twelve minutes of script doctoring worth watching.

Very cool

That is the movie I was expecting. Less politics; The whole Anakin/Padme/love triangle

Very entertaining and informative and the last bit made me laugh. Hire this guy as a Hollywood script doctor!

I liked that a lot. That's what the prequels needed. I think there were great movies in there, but Lucas really failed to fine tune enough enough to realize their potential.

Amazing how much of Phantom Menace I've forgotten. No doubt his rewrite was an improvement.

Yeah, this guy was dead on... really like his ideas to create the love triangle and keep Maul around as a recurring nemesis for Obiwan.

And to keep Yoda on the QT. Really makes a lot of sense.

This, and the threat of Obi Wan going to the dark side. We knew from Vader's demise that you could go dark and come back, what an amazing revelation it would've been to have found that Obi Wan was close to losing it.

That was terrific. Way the hell better than what we actually got.

Definitely agree killing DM was the biggest mistake of that trilogy.

Never thought about it that way, but he's right. Also dubbing out Ray Park's rough voice for a completely wrong noble one.

While his idea of a "Love triangle" was dumb, the guy touches one of the few several extremely problematic faults of the prequel trilogy: there is very little, or no connection between any of the characters. Anakin is more like a pet to Qui-Gon and Padme, Obi-Wan pays little attention to them and no one likes Jar-Jar, not even in the movie.

Everybody knows by now that, besides the wooden acting, the greatest faults of TPM is that it has no main character and it was a terrible mistake to kill Maul. As awesome as Liam Neeson and Christopher Lee are, and as much as I like Qui-Gon and Dooku, neither of those characters should have existed.

You must have forgotten Park's voice. For a guy who could beat 99% of Star Wars fans at the same time, he sounds like a wimp.

I guess it's telling that other than Toad, his other characters (Maul and Storm Shadow) are silent or dubbed in.

That guy in front of the green screen the moment that film starts. I want to punch him with my fists. I also stopped watching 22 seconds in because of said guy's punchability.

Proper reaction?

Also: Phantom Menace opens with a fucking "Story So Far" crawl even though it is fucking Episode One. Fucking fail, two minutes in.

Fuck.

Beats me if it's the proper reaction but it's the exact same one I had.

Or he's a double for someone, like in Sleepy Hollow.

He had a longish speaking role in the last season of Heroes. His voice is just wrong.

Yes, but not because of that. Because of this:

"The taxation of trade routes to outlying star systems is in dispute."

Well, yeah, the content didn't help.

Still. Episode One.

EPISODE ONE. There should be no "Story so far"!

The whole last season of Heroes was just wrong.

But yeah, it's like Mike Tyson's voice. It just doesn't fit.
