So I'm taking an "Intro to Graphic Design" class (basically a Photoshop class, but with some design aspects to it) and I have to turn in 16 logo ideas for my product (in my case, A Boy Called Monk). I'm not really having a problem coming up with ideas (surprisingly) but I am supposed to show them to others and get feedback on them.

These are just rough drafts in pen and ink. Here are the first five - I need critical feedback, so feel free to be brutally honest.

I like the one with the title in the glasses lens the best.

Number 2 for me

Thought balloon by itself. It will be the easiest for you to use as a logo. You can put that in the corner of your strip, on a cap, on a shirt, whatever...
It also expresses best what your strip is about, the thoughts of a boy called Monk.

I like the balloon best.

The first one by a mile. The font, your handwriting, perfectly and succinctly captures the kind of strip you write/draw.

From that group, I like the first one, but the second one has a nice whimsy to it.

I like this one as well, but "knowing" Monk a bit and his comic strip character, I can see where the letter bubble might work a bit better. The letter bubble can be a bit more interesting in design as well.

Okay, final 8 coming. Really appreciate the feedback, some of which surprised me.

This one. You don't really need the thought bubble though, you can just have the letters on his head.

I agree with Hanzo, I like this.

But I disagree about the bubble. I like it.
