Ross, do you approve of the Kingdom Come Robin? Red Robin?

I like the costume a lot - but that may be because of the close similarity to the original Dr. Mid-Nite's outfit which I have always thought was cool. The character as portrayed in KC was fine by me, and I always assumed it to be Dick Grayson. I got a kick out of the guy who did his voice in the audiotape version of the series (which I recommend). When the character showed up in Countdown I was kind of annoyed because they put Jason Todd behind the mask, and I have never liked that character, alive or dead. My opinion on Jason Todd is that if they were going to make such a big change by bringing him back, they should have gone all the way and made him a 100% evil adversary to Batman, rather than trying to have it both ways by making him yet another surly anti-hero who crosses the line. Now it seems the costume is back in the pages of Robin, and Todd is not wearing it. I am intrigued enough to find out who it is (after having decided to drop the series with Dixon's departure), but I do not feel like we need 4 Robin analogues running around simultaneously. In my hope of hopes, after all this Crisis hullabaloo finishes up, we will have a dedicated Earth II again, where and adult Robin can have adventures again and perhaps adopt that look.

I was startled to see Ross shed his Earth-2 Bat-Robin facade and adopt the Red Robin avatar.

Oh, I will be back to my classic look soon - but just as with free food, I find it hard to turn a free avatar down.

Ross keeps hoping that I will make him edible avatars.
