I remember getting:

Adventure Comics (Dial H For Hero)
All-Star Squadron
Amazing Spider-Man
Arak, Son Of Thunder
Batman
Buck Rogers
Conan The Barbarian
DC Comics Presents (Superman & Unknown Soldier)
Defenders
Detective Comics
Fantastic Four
Incredible Hulk
Marvel Tales (Spider-Man)
Marvel Team-UP (Spider-Man & Falcon)
Marvel Two-In-One (Thing & Alpha Flight)
Micronauts
New Teen Titans
Power Man & Iron Fist
Rom
She-Hulk
Spider-Woman
Star Trek
Star Wars
Thor
Warlord
Weird War Tales (Creature Commandos)

I'm pretty sure I had those Creepy and Eerie mags, too. Years later I'd pick up other stuff, including that awesome issue of Elfquest.

Daredevil
Fantastic four
Marvel Tales

What If..

I would have gotten New Teen Titans if I had seen it. I was buying from news stands and drug stores at that time.
I didn't start going to a comic book store till probably '85 or '86 .

Yep. I walked into the drugstore down the street in the summer of 1980 and saw New Teen Titans #1. Picked up two copies.
