Teen Titans #16 was the only comic I ever "stole"*. I bought a copy a few years back and had Nick sign it. That's when I found out what a nice guy he is. His TT is one of my fond childhood memories.
* My family cleaned our church. A copy of TT #16 was confiscated by a Sunday school teacher and left there for a few weeks. Eventually I walked it home with me.

I met Mr. Cardy a few weeks ago, at WonderCon, and he was a real gentleman. He was pleased to be getting so much attention for his past works, and he was very cheerful when he was showing off some of the recent prints and pencil drawings that he'd drawn. If I'm still involved in the comics industry 40 years from now, I hope that I'm at least remotely as cheerful and personable as Mr. Cardy.
(And for the record, Gene "The Dean" Colan and Al Feldstein are both swell guys, too.)
