I haven't seen the trailer yet, but is this guy impersonating an openly gay pastor or a pastor who is obviously gay but everybody pretends isn't?

Thanks. I know it sounds like a dumb question, but most religions---even ones we tend to think of as "liberal"---are conservative on this issue and I don't think there are many where gay clerics can serve openly. The Episcopalians are an exception, but even their church split in two over the issue. The Unitarians---to their credit---allowed it before it became more mainstream.

Premiere episode was a winner.

I watched the first one - wasn't sure it would hit. Less certain about the bad guys who IMMEDIATELY found him - and so would/could force him to do whatever they wanted via blackmail. They didn't seem like nice decent guys, yet they had the upper hand, so . . . I dunno.

Obviously, I'll have to see more to know if it would be worth watching beyond the introductory episodes.
