Back when I was a young man, probably in high school if my memories are correct which would make it the late 70s, there was a book of great ideas that never caught on. I specifically remember two: telephone shower heads and side cutting can openers (so you may use the lid and can as a container). Both of those ideas, as you can see, eventually caught on and I would like to see how many others did as well.

So of course, I don't remember the book.
