I suppose this has probably always been something Hollywood has had, but it seems that more and more bad actors (or people who simply can't act at all) are big these days?

Hmmm.....I think the best bad actor of all time is probably Adam West.

Adam West may be no master thespian, but he did bring a certain campy charm as Bruce Wayne/Batman. He did make that show very memorable.

He was great back then, but I'm referring to Ford's more recent work. Though I have not seen Cowboys Vs. Aliens yet.

Hanzo, Clooney doesn't act. He's always George Clooney, no matter what the role or movie.

I've never seen a movie of his where I believed he was actually playing a character. He's a head tilt and a monotone. Why he continues to have success I attribute to the fact that women think he's handsome.

One of the most overrated actors ever, in my estimation.

You could say the same thing about Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson, Sean Connery, Robert DeNiro, etc. They just variations of themselves most of the time -- few big stars ever "become" totally different characters.

Watch Clooney in the American, then Syriana, then Ocena's Eleven. He plays different characters.

I would go with Adam West, mainly because Shatner proved after Star Trek that he was a pretty good actor.
