This is not your typical superhero movie trailer.
The animated Teen Titans Go! to the Movies takes an irreverent approach to the DC heroes. The premise? Every superhero in the world seems to get a movie, so why not the Titans? So they head to Hollywood in hopes of getting on the radar of a major director. (As the trailer's narrator notes, "Because if Aquaman can get a movie, anyone can.")
The film bringing the DC and Cartoon Network animated TV show to the big screen stars Will Arnett, Kristen Bell, Greg Cipes (Beast Boy), Scott Menville (Robin), Khary Payton (Cyborg), Tara Strong (Raven) and Hynden Walch (Starfire). The film comes from the creatives behind the show. It's directed by series creator Aaron Horvath and producer Peter Rida Michail, and is written by producer Michael Jelenic and Horvath.
Teen Titans Go! has become a beloved property for Cartoon Network, running four seasons so far since premiering in 2013.
