I'm glad people chose the correct answer in the other poll, but let's see how it fares with the rest of the movies.

Been a good summer for blockbusters, but the best movie so far is Midnight in Paris.

agree that Midnight In Paris was the best movie of the summer. But as far as blockbusters go, I enjoyed Fast Five the best but haven't seen the big 3 Capt America/ Cowboys And Aliens/ Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes.

It was just incredibly tedious and pretentious. I felt like I was watching some self-absorbed film student's final project, only it had high quality acting and production values.

Have you seen any of his other four films, or was this your first encounter with his approach/style of filmmaking?

X-men was the most fun and original superhero flic in my opinion..really enjoyed it and would love to see a sequel with those actors set a few years later.

Super 8, though First Class is a very, very, very, very close second.

Just saw Rise Of The Apes and it goes to the top of the blockbuster pile for sure. Was very disappointed by Super 8. Guess PIXAR missed the mark with Cars 2 as they usually are considered the best movie.
