Comics will only truly be dead when Rob Liefeld takes over as the penciller on a Superman title. ;)

Until then, comics are safe.

And Al Plastino's Superman looks kind of funny to me....although I have to confess I don't really know why this is. :)

That Andru/Giordano picture looks like it used to be Batman, but they pasted Superman's head and shield over the Batman parts.

The Andru/Giordano drawing comes from Superman vs. Spider-Man, so Andru's pencils have been worked over by Neal Adams before inking. Maybe that's why you think it looks Batmanish.

Yeah, I agree. He's done most of the WW comics I have, sadly with Colletta inks.
